    • Some other minor updates
    • Completed adding feats from Tome and Blood
  • Sept 2nd

    • Added the very brief session log for last session, the Interlude between Caltaras and what is yet to come.
    • Updated the Barracks with some of the new pc's
    • Added feats from Tome and Blood to the feats lists, and began adding the individual feats pop-up pages for them.
  • August 23rd

  • August 9th

    • Wow, long time no Update!!  :-D   Todays update was to post the Letters of Vanduin Silverthorn in the Bard's Corner.  These letters tell the continuing tale of the heroe's adventures.  With special thanks to Vanduin himself, for granting  me permission to share these letters with you all.  (as well as thanks to Milandre for giving us copies of them, eh? ;-)
  • June 7th

  • June 6th

    • Added spells from the new Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting book To the Magick section.  Yeah, I use Greyhawk, but they put some of my favorite spells, like Agannazzar's Scorcher and Snilloc's Snowball, in the FR campaign book, so I hadda get it. :-)
    • Also updated a few domains and added a few domains because of the new spells in FRCS (and because the FRCS had some new domains in it which I thought fit nicely into Greyhawk.  Hatred, Orc, Slime, Spider to name just a few.
    • Added some spells from the Book of Eldritch Might to the Magick page.
    • Did some minor changes to formatting here and there to clean things up.
  • June 5th additional

    • Got the Alchemy page rebuilt and back online, so that really horribly formatted pdf document has gone bye-bye.
    • Added Divine Aid to the Feats page.
    • Finished the work on the Feats page, all popups should work properly and automatically focus if new links are selected while a popup window is still open.  As this involved editing a LOT of pages, let me know if anything doesn't work, I may have made a typo here and there.
  • June 5th

    • All updates today are related to actually changes to pages, in terms of how they are implemented, no actual new content was added to the site.
    • I am currently working on the new popup windows on the Training Hall, and adding the onfocus events that allow the user to leave an initial popup window open in which multiple selections from the main page will then be displayed.
Currently, after the popup window opens, another selection on the page WILL display in the popup window, but that window loses focus and hides behind the main browser window...which is annoying.  This merely requires I go through all the html and add a one line script to each html page (one page for each feat).  Not a big deal, but will take a bit of time.
I have currently completed this for all feats up to those beginning with the letter D, and am going to go to sleep.  Will finish the work after I wake up.  :-)
    • In the ongoing work to make some of the pages on the site which have gotten overly large download more quickly, I made the decision to actually implement frames on the site.  As of this point in time, only the Training Hall uses frames.  That particular page had gotten very, very large, and frames were the only smooth way I could think to keep the current layout style, while providing much quicker load times.  I imagine, as I implement more and more CSS and java on the site, no one with a non-frames compliant browser will be able to view any other parts of the site anyway so it should be a moot point. (83% of the hits to the site are with IE version 5.0 or higher anyway).
    • Cleaned up the appearance of the weapon charts in the Armory and added hyperlinks to jump from a weapon in the table, to its descriptive text below.  I will actually finish this by changing this page to use popups like on the Feats page in the near future, unless I receive a lot of feedback that the popups aren't working for a lot of people.
    • Cleaned up the approach to viewing feat details from the Feats Page.  Now, if you click on a feat to see its description and details, you get a popup window that displays ONLY the feat you clicked on.  This saves a lot of time, as the prior method of loading the rather large feats page and then shooting to the bookmark was getting quite slow.  The method used to accomplish  this was implemented using a very small dose of JavaScript and SHOULD work with any browser that isn't too out of date.  Please email the webmaster if you have any problems with it.
  • June 4th

    • Added Defenders of the Faith spells to the spell lists for Clerics, Paladins, Rangers and Druids.
    • Added Defenders of the Faith Prestige Classes to the Training Hall.  These classes are: Church Inquisitor, Consecrated Harrier, Contemplative, Oracle, Holy Liberator, Hospitaler, Knight of the Chalice, Knight of the Middle Circle, Master of Shrouds, Sacred Exorcist, Sacred Fist, Templar, Warpriest
  • June 3rd

    • Added Sacred Gear to the new equipment listings at the Dry Goods Store.
    • Added Feats from Defenders of the Faith to the Feats and Feat Master list pages.
    • Broke psionic feats off of the main feats master list page to their own page.
    • Added a few new spells to the various spell lists in the Magicks section.
    • Broke out the Magick page into subpages by type of magic list, such that each class has its own page, and special magic types (True rituals, Wild Magic) have their own pages as well.  This was done for organizational purposes, and because the page was getting quite large when everything was all together.
  • June 2nd

    • Put the Downloads page back online.  Other than the excel craft skill calculator, all files are omniform files.  Thus, those who don't have omniform or the omniform filler application, need not apply.
    • Finally, after all too long of a wait, the webmaster has received Defenders of the Faith from Amazon.com.  Expect the Training Hall, Feats page and Magicks pages updates within the next few days.  Note, as Defenders of the Faith is copyrighted material, actual game specific details and the like won't appear on the site, but enough information will be presented so that players at least will know if they are even remotely interested in the material from the source book.
And of course, the information will be integrated with all of the other lists on the site, so that the pages will be a 'one stop' place to see a list of ALL feats, prestige classes, etc. available (to save the need to flip through 13 different source books to find what you're looking for).
  • May 10th

    • Webmaster realized it does little good to update the site and then forget to push the "publish to web button".  Ooops
  • May 8th

  • May 1st

    • Added 4 new prestige classes, the Fleet Runner of Ehlonna, the Mighty Contender of Kord, the Radiant Servant of Pelor, and the Shining Blade of Heironeous.
As can be expected from their names, these are all religious orders dedicated to their respective gods.  They aren't useful general purpose prestige classes but they ARE great prestige classes for paladins or clerics of those deities.  As there have been few good prestige classes for either clerics or paladins before, its nice to see these 4 added.  Details can be found in the Training Hall.
  • April 16th

  • April 12th

  • April 10th

    • Updated maps of Khundrukar page with final, complete maps.
  • March 26th

  • March 25th

  • March 22nd

    • The NEW site is up....didn't notice?  Well, really, its the same site, but we're at a new host, and www.stormkeep.net is now OFFICIALLY the URL of this site (rather than just a pointer, like it used to be).  Redo any bookmarks you may have to reflect this change.
  • March 18th

    • Website fully recovered after problems with Tripod
  • March 15th

    • Added session log for last weekend's gaming session.  This log (as well as the last few) is  brief, and light on detail.  This is partly to save time, but mainly  to avoid spoiling anything for other players whose DM's might also be running the Forge of Fury.
  • March 11th

  • March 7th

  • March 6th

    • Implemented a House rule regarding the stacking of Keen weapons and the improved critical feat (and other similar threat-range improving abilities and powers).
  • March 3rd

    • Updated the sub pages of the Barracks with character sheets of the currently active members of the Dragons of Light.
  • February 28th

    • Due to the fact that psionic class characters fill a similar 'nitch' to sorcerers, the sorcerer class was very slightly enhanced for my campaign.  Though the enhancement is small, it is incredibly useful, making the class still a viable choice.  Additionally, the wizard class was granted  a tiny enhancement as well so as not to feel short-changed by the sorcerer enhancement.  Details of the changes are on the Character Creation page.
    • Added new skills from the Psionics Handbook to the Skills page.
    • Added new prestige classes from the Psionics Handbook, these being the Slayer, Soulknife, Metamind and Pyrokineticist.
    • Added psionic feats to the compiled feats page as well as the master-list of feats.
    • Added session log for the most recent adventures of the Dragon's of Light.
  • February 19th

    • Updated the details on demi-human deities, finally putting in information (and the links to it) on all of the gnomish and halfling pantheon.
  • February 18th

    • On the heals of yesterday's update to the Flanaess map, I completed adding the further western section of Zeif, as well as the island chains of the Dramidj.  Map reposted with the extra extent of North Western areas.
  • February 17th

    • I finally got around to going in and updating the map of the Flanaess to reflect changes made for 3E Living Greyhawk release.  The new map is now up in the Cartography section.
    • Additionally, 6 zoomed-in area maps were added (I divided the map into 6 portions and made larger images of each section) to preserve more detail in web viewing.  These maps can be reached by clicking on the main map itself.
  • February 16th

    • Made a minor 'tweak' to the alt.ranger for the campaign, opening up the options and variable choices of the class just a bit more.
    • Dragon 281 showed up and its filled with psionic goodness, in preparation for the soon-to-be-releases psionics handbook.  Updates today are from this issue of dragon.
    • Added several prestige classes to the Training Hall.  These are the Arcanopath monk, Psi-Hunter, Truth Seeker, and Zerth Cenobite monk.
    • Added 3 unusual new weapons to the Armory; the Bladed Staff, Panther Claw, and Double Scimitar.
  • February 15th

  • February 14th

    • Updated the Town Crier and campaign calendar with recent events.
    • Completed the session log for the last gaming day, where our heroes assaulted the Mountain Door.
    • Put up a map of the Mountain Door in the cartography section.
    • Made a few updates to the prestige classes in the Training Hall.  These were merely a few minor corrections to requirements of existing classes, as well as the addition of the Runecaster and Arcane Devotee.
    • Added a few more details to the house rules regarding character classes, with most additions as regards to monks and paladins and their multiclassing restrictions.
  • February 12th

    • Finished updating wild magic to the magicks and new spells pages.
    • Added Riposte, Shield and Spear style, and Craft Mage Focus to the list of feats.
    • Began (but have not yet finished) the adventure log for this weekend's gaming session, continuing the saga of Khundrukar.
  • February 10th

  • February 9th

    • Added the domains of Courage, Deceit, Fear and Justice to the list of domains.
    • Yet more spells added to the magicks and new spells pages, today's batch included a lot of spells of air or sound nature, as well as a few others.
  • February 8th

  • February 7th

    • Added the following prestige classes to the Training Hall: Blood Adept, Crypt Lord, Incarnate, Penumbral Lord, Sea Witch/Sea Warlock, Summoner and Vigilant
    • True Rituals from Relics & Rituals added to Magick page
    • Wizard and Sorcerer spells from Relics & Rituals added to Magick page
    • Paladin and Ranger spells from Relics & Rituals added to Magick page
    • Cleric spells from Relics & Rituals added to Magick page.
    • Bardic spells from Relics & Rituals added to Magick page.
  • February 6th

    • Updated Domain spell lists with spells from Relics & Rituals to reflect 'better fits' in many of the custom domains, and even added a few of the new spells to the 'core' domains from the PHB.
    • Added a new skill, Ritual Casting, to the Skills page.
    • Updated the Improved Familiar feat to reflect new monsters available, and to bring them in line with the new greater and fantastical familiar lists.
    • Added several new feats to the Feats page, derived from the aforementioned Relics and Rituals.  These feats are Chain Spell, Hide Spell, Greater Familiar and Fantastical Familiar.
    • I now have a few more new 3E products, most notably Monsters of Faerun and Relics and RitualsRelics and Rituals is a d20 product by Sword and Sorcery Studios, a part of White Wolf Publishing, Inc.  This book will result in numerous updates to the site over the next few days.  Order it for yourself here!  It was refreshing for me to see that SSS followed up their excellent Creature Collection with another marvelously crafted and wonderfully imaginative book such as this.  I'd put Relics and Rituals as a 'must own' product for D&D 3E, right next to the core books.  It is, imho, the best 3rd-party d20 product put out to date.  I think it even beats out any of the non-core WotC products put out so far.
  • February 5th

    • Opened up the world of Mortalis site.  This world is my creation, but is not being used in the current campaign I am running.  Instead, it will be the base for Neverwinter Nights campaigns I will run in the future.  For this reason, the site is not a top priority, but it will be worked on in my spare time.
  • February 1st

    • Updated the Campaign Calendar and the session log for the last gaming session held.
    • Finally got around to throwing the background music up for each of the 'active' hero's individual pages.  Some players specified music selection, and for the others I just picked something.
    • Added some character sketches to the Gallery
    • Added new PC's to the barracks.
    • Added pages for each of the heroes in the party, with picture and background information (if any was provided by the player with the character).  These are sub-pages of the  Barracks
  • January 25th

    • Eldritch Master put up in the Training Hall.
    • Added a Guestbook to the site, I'd love it a few people would like to leave their comments there.
    • No other updates planned for a few days, I'm tired. :)
  • January 24th

    • Put up the new Alchemist's Lab page, detailing all kinds of new alchemical goodness, and added further details regarding Alchemy skill on the skills page.
    • Addend new feats to the feats page.  These are from Dragon #280, the new feats being Enspell Familiar, Extra Familiar, Construct familiar, Token Familiar, and Undead Familiar.
    • Added new familiar spells to the Magick Page.  The new spells are Familiar's Sense, Familiar's Touch, Share Life, Familiar's Form and Call Familiar.  All from dragon #280.
    • Added more familiars to the Magick page, both from dragon #280 and a few of my own additions to fill in 'gaps' that I felt were present.  Also added all familiars from the PHB to the table, to make it a complete list of available familiars for the campaign.
  • January 22nd

    • In keeping with today's theme of languages, a new feat, Linguist, has been added to the feats page.  This feat is most useful for pc's who wish to be scholarly and want to pick up many languages, as it can potentially save dozens of skill points over time.
    • Added the language trees for the campaign so pc's know what languages are related to others for purposes of determining skill point cost for buying ranks.
    • Clarified the language skill and read/write, there was some confusion in the prior way it was written as regards to skill points vs. ranks.
  • January 21st

    • Completed the information on the Order of the Golden Fist, monastery of Pelor in Dyvers.
    • Went through all the images in the Cartography pages and redid them as PNG files.  This gives a smaller file size then the jpg's, while actually preserving the colours better.  On the downside, the loss in resolution makes the files basically useless for printing...but then, that doesn't matter to me, as I have the original CC2 maps local.  The increased load time for the pages is a good trade-off.  Anyone who actually wants to use these maps themselves just has to email me if they want a higher resolution version.
    • Added addendums for the Tumbling Skill and Languages to the Miscellaneous House Rules page.
    • Added the Allure, Double Jointed, Fast Healer, Natural Immunity, Improved Toughness, Improved Ambidexterity, Improved Mobility, Instant Stand, Sense Magic, Signature Item, Signature Mount, Steady Hand feats to the Feats page, to provide at least a small long-term incentive for taking the rather under-powered Toughness feat (by making it a prerequisite).
    • Slid all of the Sword and Fist feats into the main feat page so that now ALL new feats (those not in the PHB) are on one page, in alphabetical order.  Note, actual meta-game details for the S&F feats were still left out, with only general descriptions provided, as my goal is not to take money out of the pocket of WotC by reprinting their sourcebook in its entirety.
  • January 20th

    • Listed all the fighter bonus feats from core books and this site in the Character Creation page so those of fighter orientation can see all allowable feats at a glance.
    • Added several new options for familiars to the Magicks page.
    • Added advanced weapon specialization feats to the feats page.  Initial thought was that these should be 'fighter only' feats, but as the guidelines for feats suggest you not limit them by class, they were made as general feats which are also on the 'fighter bonus feats' list...thus making them more practical for fighters than any others.
    • Updated the omniform character sheet with an idea one of my players had; put a section for rations in the same section where ammo is tracked.  It is available from the downloads page.
    • Added adventure log for session 9.
    • Added several new domains for clerics.
    • Updated the domains for  the deities of humans, demi-humans, and humanoids due to the domain update.
    • Added some details on dwarven and elven deities.
  • January 19th

    • Added new Ray feats (for spellcasters of Ray spells) to the Feats page.
    • Added new Ray spells to the Magick page.
    • Added the Dwarven Battlerager and Gnome Trickster to the list of prestige classes in the training hall.
  • January 18th

    • Updated the list of NPC's known by the party at the Ol' Boar Inn.
    • Added the Craft skill calculator (excel spreadsheet) to the downloads page.
    • Added the Scent ability to feats.
    • Added a listing of new equipment in the Dry Goods Store, just behind the Armory.
    • Added the Ancestral Avenger and the Stonelord to the prestige classes listed in the Training Hall.
    • Added Verbobonc regional map to the Cartographer's section.
    • Added 2 more feats to the feats page, Shaft fighting and Improved shaft fighting, for all you pole-arm and spear wielding warriors.
  • January 16th

  • January 14th

    • Popup banners were getting on MY nerves...so I imagine they aren't too popular with others either.  Replaced them with the slightly unsightly 'top of page' banners, but at least there isn't anymore of those silly extra windows popping open.  Tripod is a good web hosting service, and I'll live with the banners, after all, what other free-hosting service supports Frontpage extensions?
  • January 12th

    • Added a Campaign Calendar page.  I will plot the activities of the players, and the campaign at large, on this Greyhawk Calendar.

    • Added the latest version of the omniform 3E character sheet to the downloads section.  New sheet has more space for weapon data on the front, extra 'class skill' checkboxes for multiclass, and new pages for animal companions/familiars and notes.

  • January 11th

    • Its been a long day.  The better part of this afternoon was spent going through the entire site and making modifications to each page to make navigation quick and painless throughout the site.

      • You'll notice that the left margin navigation banner is gone.  Although I rather liked the scroll-look of it, navigation is more important than pretty graphics.  For this reason, navigation bars are now at the top of each page, text form only, so those with slow connections get the menu loaded just as quickly as anyone else.

      • The top navigation list has all pages from the current 'level' within the site, while the second one, beneath it, lists links for the Table of Contents, and Ascend link (go up one level to parent page) and links for all child pages of the current view.

      • I hope everyone finds the changes for the better.  Let me know if not.

    • This site is getting rather big...and unwieldy because of it.  For convenience I've added a Search page to the top level to assist in quickly finding things..

  • January 10th

    • Added another new section to the site, The Town Crier, where you can find news, rumours and gossip from Dyvers and its lands.

    • Started a new "Feature" of this site, Establishments of Dyvers, for the Cartographers section.  The first such feature is the ever-popular One-Eyed Mug Tavern.  More features will be added as time goes on, and all will include a floor-plan of the selected establishment, as well as general gaming information on the location for players.

    • Added a page with details on the various human, and non-human, races of the Flanaess, to assist players in getting the feel and flavour of the race they select.

    • Top 25 D&D 3E sites was moved, and everyone had to sign up over.  The good news is that I signed up early and got to start as number 3! (Vote for us!)

  • January 9th

    • We are overjoyed to be in the top 25 over at the RPG top sites.  (Vote for us! and help keep us there.)

    • Updated the character creation guidelines.

      • Added enhanced skill points at level 1 to encourage fleshed-out pc's which compliment their backgrounds.

      • Added some class-specific house rules information.

  • January 6th

    • Based on conversations with other DM's, and most heavily borrowed from Arcady0's system, I've posted the Character Creation guidelines and system to the site.

    • Also added the system by which experience point awards will be given, also with much thanks to Arcady0 for the framework of the system.

  • January 5th

    • Major updates of weapons and armour on the Armory page

    • Posted modified Weapon Specialization Feat to the feats page.

    • Finalized adding details of new Prestige Classes from Sword and Fist guidebook.

    • Updated the Feat overview for S&F Feats, detailing pre-requisites for each feat.

    • Very minor modification made to the Blood magic item creation proposal.

  • January 4th

    • Added a page for the 'Blood Magic' item creation feats.

    • Added the Scarlet Squirrels  to the list of approved prestige classes for the Stormkeep campaign.

    • Updated the Knowledge (monster lore) skills information.

    • Added the credits roll to the Saga page, click the link to see them.  I admit to falling prey to insanity shortly before doing this....

    • Added new feat, Zen Initiative, to the Feats page.

  • January 3rd

    • Added a new feat, Insightful Initiative, to the Feats page.

  • January 2nd

    • Added a list of feats from the newly released Sword and Fist book.

    • Added a list of Prestige Classes from the newly released Sword & Fist book.

    • Created and posted a banner image for this website, allowing users to link to the site with either the new banner image or the old button images.

  • January 1st, 2001

    • Happy New Year!!!

    • With the New Year comes the completion of the adventure log for Session 8, the Twilight Grove.

    • Added some details regarding experience awards in my campaign to the House Rules page.

    • Sorted the Prestige Class listings alphabetically in the Training Hall.  For the life of me I have no idea why I didn't do this in the first place.

    • Added several Prestige Classes to the Training Hall (the Beastmaster, Dustdigger, Archmage, Divine Champion, Divine Disciple, Hierophant, Holy Avenger, and Hunter classes)

    • On the News front, Amazon.com has informed me that they've shipped Sword and Fist to me, and I'll be putting up the list of Prestige Classes and feats introduced therein shortly thereafter.  Note, to avoid copyright infringements, I will not actually be posting specifics on what the feats and classes can do....but the names should be informative, and players in my campaign are free to ask for more details on anything that they see which interests them.

  • December 31st

  • December 20th

    • Continued the Oakhurst saga, updating for the last 3 sessions.

  •  November 28th

    • Added details regarding pc reputation and its effect within the Stormkeep campaign.

    • Added Hero Point reward system guidelines under the House rules section of the House of Lore.

    • Moved all copyrights and credits from the bottom navigation bar to their own page, to help speed page loads (they loaded after all text, so it was just a matter of personal preference).

    • Removed active buttons from top navigation bar, replaced them with text hyperlinks.  I was never completely happy with the look of the top bar anyway, and this will also decrease load times.

  •  November 23rd

    • Finished the Aftermath section of the Brookhollow adventure.

    • Replaced human deities section with only those deities detailed thus far in 3E Living Greyhawk.  Added custom domains to those deities for Stormkeep campaign, with clear identification which are customized so official LG is clear.

    • Removed the overhead Flanaess image from the Gallery page, as the file somehow went missing.  :)

    • Changed the superstats mini-button to full banner button, at the bottom of each page.  This is so that mycomputer.com is tracking per page stats so I can better understand traffic flow at the site and make better design and layout decisions.

  • November 21st

    • Updated and/or changed music on all pages.

    • Changed some of the images and the color scheme of the site to make it easier on the eyes.

    • Put up the newly designed Stormkeep logo button at the bottom of each page, for those who wanted a button to use to link to this site.

  •  October 23, 2000

    • Applied consistent navigation bars on top and left of each page.  These allow navigation of the same level and child-levels, respectively.

    • Added a button to return to parent page, and TOC to left navigation bar as well.

    • Replaced 'in page' tripod ads with those annoying 'pop up' adds.  If you hate them as much as I do, sorry.  It was an aesthetic choice.

    • Added NPC's of note to the Ol' Boar Inn
